Ahead of 2019 general election, seun kuti the son of Nigeria musical legend, Fela. , has called out Nigerian parent over the ungoing strike by the Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU).
Kuti in a post on his instergram page,
Lamented that a religious crisis such as the hijad happened in ibadan could course outrage but the closure of universities has not pressured parents to protest.
The singer further said that parents should not be seen any were within the political ralies location.
With an incription that read "you children are not attending school but you are attending political rally. Are you maad?
Kuti wrote:untill we are ready to serve our children not just raise them, we shall never understand national development.
"How hijab crisis in a cecullar school can raise more outrage than the closure of universities is a typical proof that we are willing to serve anything else but our children"
Remember that Nigerian universities has been on strike since November,4,2018.
Over failure of FG fulfilling his promise in 2009 agreement to ASUU.
